The Armenian language, known as Հայերեն (Hayeren), is an ancient and unique Indo-European language spoken primarily in Armenia and by the Armenian diaspora worldwide. It has its own distinct alphabet, created in the 5th century by Mesrop Mashtots, which has played a crucial role in preserving Armenian culture, literature, and national identity.
